- Little Bee by Chris Cleave (must read the other book he wrote)
- We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver (want to do for book club)
- The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (what Her Fearful Symmetry was trying to be)
- A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick
- Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk (just don't read his newest, Tell-All. It's godawful. I made it to page 18.)
What have y'all been reading that's good?

Thanks for the recos. I am planning to read Little Bee and "Kevin" and eventually, Freedom. I just hope it's not as depressing as The Corrections. How about funny? Got any funny ones? That's my preferred reading as the days get shorter.
Well, I love David Sedaris, esp. Me Talk Pretty One Day. But I bet you've read that. You know, I need more funny books in my life, too.
I am reading a David Sedaris book now. I don't think he is as hilarious as other people do. I am glad he can poke fun at his own life but I just feel sorry for him. Too much empathy can be a curse!
